Are you a passionate Principal Scientist with a knack for innovation and agility? Join a leading pharmaceutical company, based in the Berkshire area, and be part of a dynamic Translational Research group. This role offers you the chance to shape a new team and make a significant impact by delivering key translational data to support clinical biomarker and quantitative pharmacology strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties as the Principal Scientist will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the Principal Scientist, you will design and deliver high-quality experimental solutions using your expertise in flow cytometry and other suitable technologies.
- As the Principal Scientist, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand the underlying biology of therapeutic approaches and present data at project meetings.
- As the Principal Scientist, you will implement strategic scientific understanding to communicate feasibility and impact on study data interpretation.
- As the Principal Scientist, you will represent the team as a Subject Matter Expert in stakeholder interactions and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Role Requirements:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Principal Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a biological discipline.
- Extensive industry experience delivering translational biomarker data, ideally in preclinical to clinical drug development.
- Expert knowledge and practical experience with flow cytometry technology and analytical software.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to groundbreaking research. You will work alongside the Biomarker research team, gaining a breadth of experience across the drug discovery and development pipeline.
