RiverSafe is hiring a Senior or Principal Security Consultant to join our established, client-facing security practice in London.
This is a delivery-first consulting role with a commercial edge. You'll lead technical engagements across cloud, DevSecOps and security operations, building trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional value and follow-on work.
This is not an out-and-out presales role, but successful consultants are comfortable contributing to scoping, proposals and account growth alongside delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Leading security consulting engagements end-to-end, owning scope, quality and client outcomes
- Delivering assessments, maturity reviews and gap analyses that produce prioritised, risk-based roadmaps
- Designing and implementing security controls across AWS, Azure or GCP environments
- Supporting DevSecOps practices, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and codifying controls as automation
- Identifying follow-on opportunities from within live engagements and helping shape them into scoped work
- Contributing technical input to proposals, statements of work and bid responses

What you'll bring
- Recent, hands-on delivery experience in at least two of: cloud security, DevSecOps, security operations and detection engineering, or security architecture
- A track record of leading client engagements end-to-end
- Willingness to get involved in scoping, proposal input and account development activities
- A confident client-facing presence with senior and budget-holding stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP, including cloud IAM and posture management
- Sound commercial judgement around scoping, effort estimation and delivery risk
