Principal Security Researcher
North Oxfordshire | DV Cleared
£120,000 + Excellent Benefits
Our client operates within the National Security and Advanced Research sector and is building a specialist capability focused on vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
They are seeking a Principal Security Researcher to join a highly skilled team working on challenging and technically complex software and networking environments. This opportunity is suited to an experienced cyber researcher who enjoys identifying exploitable vulnerabilities, analyzing compiled code, and developing proof-of-concept exploits.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting advanced vulnerability research
- Identifying and validating exploitable weaknesses
- Reverse engineering complex binaries
- Developing exploit proof-of-concepts
- Analyzing complex software systems
- Researching network-centric technologies
- Working across multiple processor architectures
- Collaborating with a team of highly skilled researchers
- Supporting future source code review and analysis initiatives

- Active DV Clearance
- Strong vulnerability research experience
- Reverse engineering expertise
- Advanced Ghidra experience
- Exploit development capability
- Strong networking knowledge
- C programming
- C++ programming
- Assembly language skills
- Experience analyzing compiled binaries
- Experience across multiple processor architectures
