Senior Tech Lead / Principal Engineer
Remote (1 day a week in the office) | £90,000–£110,000
I'm partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing FinTech that's looking for a Senior Tech Lead / Principal Engineer to lead its engineering function and play a key role in shaping the future of its platform.
This isn't just about technical excellence, although that's essential. They're looking for someone who can inspire a team, make confident architectural decisions, collaborate with stakeholders, and foster a strong engineering culture.
What you'll be working with:
- Python
- FastAPI
- Django
- API-driven web applications
What you'll bring:
- Strong Python engineering experience
- Technical leadership and architectural decision-making
- Experience building scalable web applications and APIs
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A calm, pragmatic approach to production issues and technical challenges
