Principal Structural Engineer
London £60,000 - £75,000 + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid Working

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Structural Engineer to join their established London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, education, healthcare and heritage sectors.

Working alongside a highly experienced leadership team, you will take ownership of project delivery, provide technical guidance to junior engineers and play a key role in client management and business development activities.
We Are Looking For A Principal Structural Engineer Who:
- Is Chartered, or approaching Chartership, with either the IStructE or ICE;
- Has extensive experience delivering structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors;
- Can confidently manage projects from concept through to completion;
- Has experience leading and mentoring engineers and technicians;
- Possesses excellent communication and client-facing skills;
- Has the right to work in the UK;
- Is willing to commute to the London office on a hybrid basis.
As The Successful Principal Structural Engineer, You Will:
- Lead the structural delivery of multiple projects simultaneously;
- Manage client relationships and act as a key technical point of contact;
- Provide leadership, mentoring and technical support to junior team members;
- Coordinate with architects, developers and multidisciplinary design teams;
- Oversee project programmes, budgets and technical compliance;
- Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the structures team.
