A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Structural Engineer to join their established London team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, education, healthcare and heritage sectors.

Working alongside a highly experienced leadership team, you will take ownership of project delivery, provide technical guidance to junior engineers and play a key role in client management and business development activities.

We Are Looking For A Principal Structural Engineer Who:

  • Is Chartered, or approaching Chartership, with either the IStructE or ICE;
  • Has extensive experience delivering structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors;
  • Can confidently manage projects from concept through to completion;
  • Has experience leading and mentoring engineers and technicians;
  • Possesses excellent communication and client-facing skills;
  • Has the right to work in the UK;
  • Is willing to commute to the London office on a hybrid basis.

As The Successful Principal Structural Engineer, You Will:

  • Lead the structural delivery of multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Manage client relationships and act as a key technical point of contact;
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and technical support to junior team members;
  • Coordinate with architects, developers and multidisciplinary design teams;
  • Oversee project programmes, budgets and technical compliance;
  • Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the structures team.
