Principal Structural Engineer

Are you an experienced Principal Structural Engineer looking to join a progressive and ambitious consultancy working on high-profile projects across the UK?

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a growing business, leading technically challenging projects while helping to shape the future of the team. You'll work closely with clients, architects and contractors, delivering innovative structural solutions across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial developments.

As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
  • Managing client relationships and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Reviewing structural designs, calculations and technical documentation
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers while providing technical leadership
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Extensive structural engineering experience within a consultancy environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across steel, timber, masonry and concrete structures
  • Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
