Join a Leading IoT Company
Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing, multi-national Internet of Things (IoT) companies in the world? Good, because we're building something with real impact.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to establish and grow a brand-new Technology Alliances function within Teltonika UK & Ireland. This isn't a role where you'll inherit existing partnerships, customers or consulting projects. You'll build them.
We're looking for someone who understands how Professional Services organisations, Systems Integrators and Technology Consultancies create value for their customers, and who knows how to position technology partnerships that generate long-term consulting opportunities and commercial growth.
About Teltonika
Teltonika is a global leader in Internet of Things (IoT), with over 25 years of innovation, operations in more than 27 countries, and over 2,500 employees worldwide.
Following the launch of our UK operation in 2024, we're continuing to invest heavily across our IoT portfolio. This newly created position will play a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships with leading UK Professional Services organisations, helping position Teltonika's technologies at the centre of digital transformation programmes across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO UK & Ireland, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the strategy, establish key alliances and ultimately build and lead a high-performing Technology Alliances team as the function grows.
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, UK Head Office, Suite G2.1, Building 8, Exchange Quay, M5 3EJ, with regular travel throughout the UK & Ireland.
In this role, you will:
- Build Teltonika's Technology Alliances function from the ground up, establishing strategic partnerships with Professional Services organisations that create new consulting opportunities and long-term commercial growth.
- Identify, develop and grow new consulting opportunities by positioning Teltonika as the preferred IoT hardware partner within digital transformation, IoT and industry-specific solution portfolios.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including Partners, Directors, CTOs and Heads of Digital Transformation.
- Develop alliance-led go-to-market strategies that generate consulting engagements, joint pipeline growth and new revenue opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with partners to identify, scope and shape commercially viable IoT solutions and consulting opportunities.
- Deliver technical presentations, executive workshops, architecture discussions and solution demonstrations.
- Act as the technical subject matter expert across Teltonika's IoT hardware (routers, gateways, trackers, networking devices, telematics, etc.).
- Support the development of Statements of Work, commercial proposals, value propositions and partnership agreements where appropriate.
- Act as the bridge between partner organisations and Teltonika's Sales, Technical, Product Development and Marketing teams.
- Provide market intelligence and partner feedback to influence future product development.
- Support joint marketing campaigns, customer case studies, industry events and strategic partner initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
