Description & Requirements

Launched at COP28, the Global Capacity Building Coalition (GCBC) is an unprecedented global alliance of UN agencies, MDBs, philanthropies, public and private finance initiatives, and capacity-building providers to enhance collaboration and respond to growing requests for sustainable finance capacity-building support from policymakers and financial institutions in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs). Since its launch, the Coalition has grown to over 130 organizations working on capacity building, who in the aggregate work with over 5,000 public and private financial institutions, 160 financial centres and exchanges and millions of finance professionals in almost every country in the world.

The GCBC is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies and led by a small team based between London and New York City.

We are looking for a dynamic, expert and experienced Technical Specialist to design and facilitate, in collaboration with the GCBC members, innovative and impactful capacity-building activities and programmes tailored to the needs of financial institutions and finance professionals in EMDEs. The role requires a deep commitment to, and expertise in, climate and sustainable finance, capacity building and training, and multilateral collaboration. It will require excellent stakeholder relationships and management skills, and a strong track record of capacity building, education and training in climate finance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
