Who are we?
Telana are experts in applied innovation, focused on delivering business outcomes through AI, data, software development, and cloud engineering expertise. We leverage our problem-solving skills and end-to-end capabilities to help our clients create better solutions for their customers and employees.
As a top-tier partner of Google Cloud and Microsoft, the market leaders for AI, Data, and Cloud, we work with some of the world’s biggest brands and government organisations to help them solve their toughest business and operational challenges; whether that’s attracting new customers, driving operational efficiency, or improving reducing risk.
We have received impressive external recognition for its innovative offerings, best-in-class capabilities, and tangible impact for customers across various industries:
- Telana is recognized as a Leader for Data, Analytics, and Machine Learning in the ISG Provider™ Lens for Google Cloud Partner Ecosystem in 2024, and a Rising Star in 2022 and 2023.
- We are an accredited Azure Expert MSP provider, and have also been awarded Google Cloud’s 2024 EMEA Public Sector Partner of the Year award.
What will your role be?
The Principal Technology Consultant is the senior technical relationship owner for a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as the trusted technical advisor to client CIOs, CTOs, and IT leadership. Often acting as “Account CxO” based on need, this role bridges commercial account management and technical strategy — shaping client technology roadmap, ensuring solutions align to business outcomes, and acting as the escalation point for technical credibility across pre-sales, delivery, and managed service.
This is a client-facing leadership role rather than a hands-on engineering role: as a Principal Technical Consultant you will set the technical direction, while working closely with delivery leads, architects, and engineering teams who execute.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
