Principal, Technology Consulting - Microsoft

We're looking for a Principal, Technology Consulting - Microsoft to join our team in London, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode.

As a Principal, Technology Consulting – Microsoft, you'll lead the design, architecture and delivery of agentic AI solutions for our clients, from initial concept through to production on Azure. This role is suited to people from both industry and consulting backgrounds: what matters most is hands-on experience delivering AI and agentic solutions in production environments. You'll also lead the technical side of pre-sales activities, helping shape solution strategies and proposals alongside sales and account teams. The role includes regular engagement with senior client stakeholders, so you'll need a practical and well-informed perspective on both the technology and its business applications.

You'll bring experience delivering AI solutions in production, not just building prototypes, whether your background is in Data, Infrastructure or Solution Architecture. You'll be comfortable working in complex enterprise environments, collaborating across teams and taking solutions from concept through to deployment. Experience working with senior stakeholders is important, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and credibly.

Alongside client work, you'll help shape the practice's approach to agentic AI by contributing to technical standards, developing offerings and mentoring other consultants.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
