Job Title: Principal Town Planner
Location: Hampshire
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning consultancy in their search for a Senior, Principal or Associate Planner to join their growing Hampshire team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Planner with a strong commercial mindset to work on a diverse portfolio of projects and play a key role in business development. The role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, energy and heritage, with genuine scope to build your profile and progress your career.
The Role
You will be involved in planning projects from inception through to delivery, working closely with clients and colleagues to provide clear, commercially focused planning advice. This is an ideal opportunity for a planner looking to take the next step within a dynamic consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing planning projects from start to finish
- Preparing planning appraisals, applications and appeals
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and contributing to business development initiatives
- Providing commercially focused planning advice across a range of sectors
About You
- Chartered Planner / RTPI Member
- Strong, broad planning experience
- Good commercial understanding of development projects and planning consultancy
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
