Overview

Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. To help our teams work together effectively, this role is fully remote but requires you to be located in the UK. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Role

As a Principal Value Management Advisor in Atlassian’s Value Management Office (VMO), you will lead strategic value engagements that shape the direction of Atlassian’s most critical customer relationships in the EMEA region.

You will set the benchmark for value management craft, drive innovation at scale, and act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior executives - both within Atlassian and across our customer base.

Your influence will extend across teams, functions, and geographies, ensuring that Atlassian’s value proposition is clearly articulated in the most complex and high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

  • Build influential, personalized relationships with key decision-makers, shaping decision-making and driving for customer success.
  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities, create compelling business cases, and develop metrics to demonstrate and realize value.
  • Demonstrate advanced discovery skills to uncover value drivers for customers to develop holistic, innovative solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling executive-level presentations and content, confidently engaging with C-level executives to drive alignment and support business cases.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new VMO solutions and offerings, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
  • Build trust and alignment across teams while serving as a trusted advisor to both sales leadership and customers.
  • Develop and share thought leadership on Atlassian solutions and support field teams in value-based selling.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
