Job Description
As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you are a senior technology leader within HMCTS – reporting directly to the CTO. You will shape the future of technology within HMCTS and will be accountable for the technical architecture for one of the domains within HMCTS including:

In this role you will
Your role as Principal Enterprise Architect will encompass several key responsibilities listed below (but not limited to):
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise architecture supporting strategic goals and enhancing service delivery in line with GDS principles.
- Lead HMCTS to deliver a cohesive set of strategic capabilities for your domain. With accountability for the technical capabilities, offerings, solutions and products for that jurisdiction.
- Communicate business problems, strategies, solutions and issues to senior stakeholders including executive and board level. Provide technical and strategic guidance to HMCTS senior management.
Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and integration of solutions that support HMCTS and government objectives

Mentorship
Motivate and guide architects, developers and Service owners fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Management of Enterprise architects and oversight of Solution Architects. Motivate individuals, ensuring that they understand their remit and have the tools and support required.
