Job Description

At NEXT Wholly Owned Brands, we’re a collective of London-based fashion and lifestyle brands. From our beginnings with Lipsy in 1998, to becoming part of the UK’s largest fashion retailer, NEXT, in 2008 we’ve evolved into a group of bold, design-led brands, each with its unique identity.

At the heart of our business is a passionate team driven by creativity, innovation, and a shared ambition to deliver exceptional results. We foster a culture where individuality is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and challenging the status quo is part of how we grow.

Role Purpose

The Print Designer is responsible for designing and creating beautiful prints that are distinctive to a dedicated brand handwriting. This role requires high levels of creative and artistic flair to generate fresh, innovative ideas for a team that is deeply passionate about print.

Role Responsibilities

Design & Creative Leadership

  • Drive the print direction for the brand, delivering commercial and inspirational prints that resonate with the customer.
  • Identify key seasonal prints, colors, and trends, interpreting them specifically for the brand's unique handwriting.
  • Create seasonal mood and trend boards to guide the collection's aesthetic direction.
  • Design original artworks in both repeat and engineered placements tailored to specific garments.
  • Present new print designs and emerging trends to the Design team and senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with both the Design and Buying teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
