Phase Print Ltd - Design, Print, Mailing

Specialists producing high quality work that meets the needs of the most demanding of customers. A well established family run business that values the work put in by its staff, specialising in all types of printing, finishing, packaging and direct mail work products.

Phase is a commercial printer based in Nottinghamshire on the Derbyshire border. Family run with extremely experienced staff, we are experts in the fields of direct mail, commercial print and postage.

We’re now looking to recruit a trained guillotine/print finishing operator or, an enthusiastic individual to join our print finishing team as a good all-rounder. This individual will help us drive further productivity and support machine efficiency through team and interactive company learning/involvement.

The print finishing department is one of our core departments within our business. Housing both our commercial print finishing, packaging, and mailing services.

Your Role

  • Operating a programmatic guillotine.
  • Cutting for folders, booklet makers, and for all sorts of finished work.
  • Cutting raw materials.
  • Working with different material types, brands, and sizes.
  • Running print finishing machines (folders, booklet makers, cylinders)

The role will also include:

  • Managing stocks of materials, computer equipment, and warehouse management.
  • Assist in other departments where required.
  • Carry out general maintenance for each of our machines.

Experience operating other print finishing equipment and forklift skills will be an advantage.

This role requires a very keen eye for detail and the ability to perform well under pressure, with the ability to work well within a team is essential. You must be able to self-prioritise work and be good at time management. Please note that this is a physical role. Basic computer work will also be required.

Our production facility currently operates from 6am to 9pm, Mon to Fri.

You will be required to work a fluctuating 7.5-hour shift between these times.

During busier times, overtime and weekend work is required.

Previous experience in commercial print or similar is an advantage.

Training will also be provided as required.
