About Atom Learning

We're Atom Learning and our mission is to help every child reach their potential.

We combine exceptional teacher-made content with technology, data science and machine learning to make high-quality, personalised education more accessible. Our aim is to give every child access to the kind of insight, support and individualised learning that was once largely limited to expensive private education and tutoring.

We're one of Europe's fastest-growing EdTech companies. Since 2018 we've grown from a startup of four friends to over 100 people, with specialists across education, engineering, product, learning design and marketing.

The Scale Is Real

Nearly half a million children have learned on Atom, answering more than 750 million questions. Last academic year alone, 180,000 students answered over 210 million questions. For families: over 170,000 children have used Atom Home to build core skills and prepare for exams, answering more than 440 million questions along the way. Our GCSE product, Home Senior, launched in February 2026 and more than 30,000 students are already learning on it. For schools: around 1,900 schools and more than 24,000 teachers use Atom in the UK and internationally. Quest Progress, our standardised assessment platform, has delivered more than 1.1 million assessments since launching in September 2024.

We’re a remote-first company, with more than 110 people working across 10 countries. However, for this particular role, we’re looking for someone who can work from our London office.

The role

We’re looking for a Print Operations Manager to join Atom Learning and work on our rapidly growing admissions and progress assessment product. Each year, hundreds of thousands of children sit our assessments. You’ll oversee the end-to-end print operation, ensuring papers are prepared and printed accurately, stored securely, and packed and delivered to schools on time. This role is central to maintaining confidentiality and helping schools run their admissions processes smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In practice, you’ll plan print runs and delivery schedules, manage supplier relationships, and safeguard some of the most sensitive material we handle. You'll manage the contingency plans that mean nothing gets missed, the QA/QC processes that catch problems before they happen, and the customer relationships that keep schools trusting us with their admissions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in owning a process from start to finish, enjoys the responsibility of getting the details right when it really matters, and wants to be the person a growing EdTech company can rely on.

Please note: Although we’re a remote-first company, this is an on-site role based five days a week at our central London office. As our operations scale, the role will also require you to work from future warehouse locations in Berkshire or Buckinghamshire.

What you'll do

  • Manage the paper exam process end to end - papers created, printed and shipped on time and correctly
  • Plan the printing and delivery schedule to meet each customer's deadlines
  • Liaise with consumables suppliers, couriers and building management to keep operations running smoothly
  • Build contingency and risk mitigation plans for unexpected hiccups (missed deliveries, printer faults, supplier delays)
  • Oversee paper security, making sure there's no unauthorised access - external or internal
  • Liaise directly with customers to understand their requirements and deliver within our agreed service framework
  • Orchestrate our QC and QA processes covering printing, storage and delivery
  • Work with product and engineering to improve paper features on the platform based on customer needs
  • Pick up day-to-day office management tasks as needed (supplies, deliveries, general upkeep of the space)

Who you are

  • Comfortable with process-heavy, detail-driven work
  • Enjoy to work autonomously - there will be periods where you’re working alone, so self-direction and good judgement matter
  • Experienced at owning a process end to end and holding suppliers to account
  • Highly detail-oriented; ideally experienced handling high-stakes, confidential material
  • Trustworthy and discreet - you'll have access to sensitive, commercially competitive material
  • Confident liaising with customers directly, not just internally
  • Happy working cross-functionally with product/engineering
