Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Print Production Manager with an exceptional eye for colour, print and quality. This role, a new one for us at Boden, will be instrumental in getting our beautiful product made and will be part of a much bigger product team across Boden, including garment design, print design, fabric, buying, merchandising and garment tech and specific to our Womenswear business.
This Print Production Manager will turn our beautiful design-led print ideas into consistent, scalable, commercially viable product. We have very high standards for quality, and this role is key to us delivering this.
Location: 4 days per week at our North Acton office, 1 working from home.
What You Will Do
- Turn signed-off print concepts into production-ready artworks and finished womenswear product.
- Own print execution from artwork and strike-offs through to bulk production, keeping approvals on the critical path.
- Protect colour, definition, repeat scale and consistency across fabrics, solids and coordinating garments.
- Ensure prints align with garment patterns and grade placement prints using 3D or AI tools where required.
- Approve artworks and strike-offs, resolving production issues quickly and practically.
- Choose and manage the right print method, including screen, digital, placement and engineered techniques.
- Negotiate with mills and suppliers to protect quality, cost and intake margin.
- Optimise print direction, repeats and nesting to reduce fabric waste, reprints and rejects.
- Build strong cross-functional and supplier relationships to deliver monthly newness on time.
- Use sales, margin, markdown and returns data to improve print execution and commercial performance.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven fashion print-production experience from end-to-end, ideally in womenswear.
- Strong technical knowledge of artwork, strike-offs, colour matching, repeats, placement and engineered prints.
- Hands-on experience liaising with multiple mills, print houses, factories and suppliers.
- An excellent taste level and a sharp eye for print, colour, consistency and quality.
- Sound understanding of garment construction, pattern alignment and how fabric affects print results.
- Commercial confidence in cost negotiation, margin protection, fabric efficiency and production risk.
- Experience managing long, complex critical paths and delivering ranges to deadline.
- An adaptable, detail-focused approach with the confidence to move between technical detail and senior-level updates.
- Outgoing and collaborative, with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experience with PLM, 3D or AI production tools is an advantage.
