Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Printer / Office Equipment Engineer to join our Repair Centre in Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, build, configuration, and refurbishment of multifunctional devices and printers.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality refurbishment, repair, and maintenance services for managed print equipment, ensuring devices are restored to optimal performance and reliability. The Refurbishment Engineer will work closely with internal teams to provide efficient, cost-effective solutions while maximising equipment lifespan and supporting sustainability initiatives.

This position is based at our Logistics Hub in Lincoln and is a workshop-based role, not a field service position.

A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, from 8am- 5pm or 8.30 - 5.30, with a one-hour lunch break.

  • Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

You will play a key role in ensuring devices are repaired, configured, and optimised to meet customer requirements, while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Therefore, previous experience in troubleshooting faults and proven skills in repairing equipment is required along with strong technical skills.

In addition, the Repair & Refurbishment Technician will:

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the repair centre
  • Contribute to the sharing of technical knowledge and best practices
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures, service level agreements, and industry standards
