We are committed to transforming lives through housing and support. We're looking for compassionate, motivated people to join our team, helping individuals leaving prison secure stable accommodation and successfully reintegrate into their communities. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you'll work directly with people who are often facing multiple barriers to housing, helping them move forward and build a better future.
About the Role
As a CAS3 Support Worker, you'll provide support for people leaving prison, taking a person-centred approach to identify goals, overcome barriers, secure long term accommodation, and reduce the risk of reoffending.
In this role, you will:
- Support residents to move into suitable long term accommodation.
- Complete risk assessments and personalised support plans.
- Deliver regular one-to-one support sessions.
- Work closely with probation services, local authorities, and partner agencies.
- Help residents access essentials such as identification, banking, benefits, and healthcare.
- Signpost individuals to specialist services including mental health, substance misuse, and welfare support.
- Support people to build confidence, independence, and positive life outcomes.
