We pioneer innovative, user-friendly software to meet the changing needs of today’s EMS agencies, fire departments, and hospitals. We’re small enough to be nimble and fun, but big enough to be a great place to work. We serve thousands of customers out of our offices across the US, Canada and Northern Ireland.
How You’ll Support Our Mission
As the Privacy Compliance Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping ESO’s privacy policy and ensuring ESO’s adherence to privacy regulations. Collaborating closely with all departments, especially with the security team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining data protection agreements and employee privacy policies. This role is not just about compliance—it's about safeguarding personal data so we can uphold our commitment to improving community health and safety through the power of data.
Reporting directly to the Chief Privacy Officer, you'll have the opportunity to influence company-wide policies and make strategic recommendations that will keep us ahead in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape. If you're passionate about privacy and ready to take on a role with real impact, this is the opportunity you've been looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing – the day-to-day:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing data protection agreements to ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations.
- Developing and implementing employee privacy policies that align with the latest regulatory standards.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to privacy regulations across all departments.
- Providing strategic recommendations to enhance ESO’s privacy practices, staying ahead of regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Acting as ESO’s designated privacy officer, supporting the company in privacy-related matters.
- Working with the security team to integrate security considerations into ESO’s privacy policy.
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams on privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
