Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Privacy Implementation Consultant – OneTrust, based in Milton Keynes with flexibility for some work from home. The consultant will configure, implement, and optimize OneTrust modules to support client privacy, governance, and compliance programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting end-to-end project implementation from design through deployment

The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, managing implementation timelines, and contributing to continuous improvement of methodologies and templates.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements, assess client processes, and design effective OneTrust solutions.
  • Consulting skills to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and translate complex privacy concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Experience with software implementation, particularly configuration and deployment of OneTrust or similar privacy/compliance platforms.
  • Background in project implementation, including planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple concurrent client projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences and produce clear documentation.
  • Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, other global frameworks) and governance best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage priorities independently, and collaborate as part of a distributed team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Law, Business, Data Privacy) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OneTrust certifications, CIPP/E or other privacy credentials) are beneficial.
