Temporary Privacy Paralegal
Our client is seeking Paralegals to assist with a Subject Access Request (SAR) backlog reduction programme. We have a potential opportunity for an interim assignment focused on increasing delivery capacity, reducing outstanding requests and supporting ongoing compliance obligations. The role is expected to start ASAP and run for an initial 3 months, with the potential for extension.
The Role:
- Processing and progressing Subject Access Requests in line with agreed processes and deadlines.
- Reviewing documents and applying redactions where required.
- Preparing disclosure packs and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information and documentation.
- Supporting SAR backlog reduction initiatives.
- Assisting with wider privacy operations and compliance-related activities.

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience handling Subject Access Requests, data protection matters or document review work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with sensitive information.
- Experience reviewing, collating and preparing large volumes of documentation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Confident communicating with stakeholders across different business areas.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and adapting to new processes.
- Previous experience in a law firm, in-house legal team, compliance team or privacy operations function would be advantageous.
