Reference: EV7524

Location: Marlborough

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

Working pattern: 100% office based

Start date: Early November

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Business and Private PA to join a successful private office in Marlborough. This will be on an initial 9-month FTC, with the view to go permanent following the successful completion of the initial contract.

Working closely with the Principal, you will play a central role in ensuring both personal and professional commitments are managed seamlessly. This is a broad and varied position, supporting a busy individual. The successful candidate will be a natural organiser who enjoys taking ownership and is confident operating with a high degree of autonomy. You will be expected to anticipate requirements, in this paced role where priorities can change quickly and no two days will look the same. Excellent communication skills, discretion, and sound judgement will be key, alongside the ability to build strong relationships with those around the Principal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complex and ever-changing diary management.
  • Arranging internal and external meetings, managing logistics and ensuring all necessary preparation.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for staff and stakeholders.
  • Inbox management; keeping things organised and prioritised, drafting responses where appropriate and ensuring all actions are followed through.
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Managing domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, ground transport, and chauffeur coordination across different time zones.
  • Overseeing and maintaining insurance arrangements/policies.
  • Planning and coordinating dinners, lunches, events, and other social engagements.
  • Providing general support across a wide variety of personal and professional projects, responding positively and efficiently to new requirements as they arise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
