Off-Cycle Intern – Credit Advisory

Programme Dates: January 2027 – June 2027

Group Overview

Evercore's Private Capital Advisory ("PCA") team is the leading global advisor in the private capital secondaries market, providing liquidity solutions to both general partners (GPs) and limited partners (LPs).

Within PCA, the Credit GP Advisory team was established in Europe in 2026 and focuses on advising private credit GPs on continuation vehicle transactions — one of the fastest-growing segments of private markets, with GP-led credit transaction volume tripling between 2024 and 2025.

As the market-leading advisor in the space, the team partners with leading global private credit managers to structure and execute bespoke secondary transactions that align the interests of GPs, existing limited partners, and new secondary investors. The team's advisory work spans portfolio modelling, asset positioning, transaction structuring, and end-to-end process management.

Evercore's emphasis on independent advice, innovative solutions, and execution excellence has established PCA as the market leader, achieving over 50% market share in 2025.

The Opportunity

The Credit Advisory team is seeking candidates to join its five and a half month Off-Cycle Internship Programme from January to June 2027.

We are looking for intellectually curious, highly motivated individuals who are eager to work in one of the fastest-growing areas of private markets and can quickly develop technical and commercial expertise.

As an Off-Cycle Intern, you will gain exposure to high-profile GP-led secondary transactions while developing core technical skills, including financial modelling of credit secondaries portfolios. You will work closely with senior team members throughout live transactions and gain insight into the full deal execution process, from origination through to close.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
