Role Description
The Private Chef – Freelance role is a freelance, hybrid position based in London / Hertfordshire Area, United Kingdom. The chef will work with Chef Joel to deliver customized menus for individuals, families, and small gatherings, including daily meals and special events. Day-to-day tasks include:

The chef is expected to work independently, provide flexible scheduling, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in clients’ homes.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills, including menu planning, food preparation, and plating for varied cuisines and dietary requirements.
- Positive attitude
- Personable and professional
- Food and Hygiene certificate 3 preferable
- Experience in private chef work, fine dining, or high-end catering, ideally within the London Area or similar metropolitan settings.
- Excellent client-facing skills, including clear communication, discretion, and the ability to understand and adapt to client preferences.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple courses or events with minimal oversight.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by client schedules.
- Enhanced DBS preferable, but the focus is on the right candidates as this can be arranged
- Right to work in the United Kingdom and ability to travel across the London Area for on-site engagements.
