Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to join Gallagher’s Private Clients team in Woking. This role is a blend of managing a portfolio of high-value clients and supporting the growth and development of a talented team. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on leadership experience and contribute to the success of a global leader in insurance and risk management.

How You'll Make An Impact

In this role, you’ll lead by example, managing relationships with high-value clients and delivering tailored insurance solutions. You’ll work closely with the Team Manager to shape the team’s strategy, coach and mentor colleagues, and ensure high standards of service. You’ll also play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, building partnerships, and driving the team’s performance.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-value Private Client relationships.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to help them grow.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of colleagues.
  • Representing Gallagher professionally in the market.
  • Contributing to the growth and culture of the Woking office.

About You

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • Experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on client relationships is essential.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience.
  • Confidence in meeting clients and partners face-to-face.
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach.
  • A passion for developing people and driving team success.

Experience with private clients, high-net-worth (HNW) accounts, Acturis, or CII qualifications would be a bonus, but we’re more interested in your leadership potential and ability to make an impact.
