Job Opportunity: Private Client Associate

Amber River Premier is one of the UK’s fastest-growing wealth management firms. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual seeking an entry-level position within financial services administration to join our team of Private Client Associates in Marlow, Bucks.

Amber River offers bespoke financial planning advice, curating financial strategies to help our clients achieve their life goals; from planning to buy a new home or legacy planning and everything in between. Our clients are typically high-net-worth individuals or corporate clients.

Role Overview

As a Private Client Associate, your primary role is to provide administrative and client servicing support to our teams of financial advisers. You will also be the primary point of contact for client queries and servicing of transactional requests.

Role Responsibilities

  • Opening, sorting, and scanning daily post
  • Answering the telephone and directing calls, receiving, and passing on messages
  • Meeting and greeting clients visiting the office for appointments, ensuring they are offered a warm and professional welcome.
  • Liaising with clients, product providers, and other 3rd parties
  • Preparing pre-meeting documentation, including valuations, for client meetings
  • Obtaining illustrations/quotations, product literature, and fund/transfer values from product providers and other 3rd parties
  • Sending information requests to providers, and managing these through to receipt of information
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating client database (CURO)
  • Ensuring all dealings with customers are carried out in a professional and courteous manner
  • Undertake sufficient product and market research
  • Ensuring all supporting documentation is maintained as per company procedures
  • Ensuring all files meet FCA compliance guidelines

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal applicant could be a Graduate holding a relevant qualification (e.g., business/finance/economics), or perhaps an experienced financial services Administrator seeking a position within a professional, progressive organisation.

Due to the nature of the business, the role would be well suited to an individual that is capable of following processes and procedures carefully, is highly organised, and has exceptional communication skills.

Working Model

The Company operates a hybrid working model, with all employees being office-based 3 days/week at our office in Marlow, and remote 2 days/week. You are welcome to work fully office-based should you prefer to do so, but applicants must be able to commute to the office as required.
