Private Client Associate

Location: London

Salary: £75,000 - DOE

We are currently working with a number of Tier 1 private client firms, who are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join one of their growing teams.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside some of the leading names in private client law on a high-quality and interesting caseload of wills, trusts, tax and estate planning matters, in firms that offer genuine career progression and exposure to top-tier work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running your own caseload of private client matters, including will drafting, estate administration, trusts, tax planning and lasting powers of attorney, with support from senior colleagues where needed.
  • Advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, families, and trustees on matters relating to wealth protection, succession planning and estate management.
  • Assisting Partners and senior fee earners with complex and high-value matters, while giving clients clear, considered advice and a consistently high standard of service.
  • Helping to develop junior colleagues and playing a part in the team's broader knowledge-sharing and professional development.
  • Cultivating lasting client relationships and getting involved in the firm's marketing and business development activity to help the practice grow.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Solicitor with 1-4 years' PQE and a solid grounding in private client work, ideally gained at a well-regarded firm.
  • Sound technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a practical, client-focused approach to advising on personal and family matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport easily with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A supportive, team-focused mindset paired with real ambition to progress within a leading practice.
  • A genuine interest in networking and business development, with an eagerness to raise your own professional profile.
