Private Client Associate
Location: Central London - hybrid
Salary: £65-70,000
Experience: 4PQE+
OVERVIEW
Join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm and a high-performing Private Client team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Associate to work on a broad range of matters for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including those with international and multi-jurisdictional assets.
The role offers significant client exposure, opportunities to contribute to business development, and the chance to play an active role in the continued growth of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a varied Private Client caseload, including IHT planning, Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration, and Care Home Fee planning.
- Advising HNW and UHNW clients, including individuals and families with multi-jurisdictional assets.
- Managing matters with a high degree of autonomy and delivering work to agreed financial, quality, and chargeable-hour targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers, and professional advisers.
- Developing a network of referrers and other professional contacts to support the continued growth of the London team.
- Actively contributing to the department’s business development and networking strategy.
- Supporting the development and growth of junior colleagues.
- Maintaining high standards of client care, compliance, and file management.
- Some travel and out-of-hours working will be required for business development, meetings, and training.

ABOUT YOU
- Qualified Solicitor with 4PQE+ in Private Client.
- Strong technical experience across Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration, IHT planning, and elderly client matters.
- Experience advising HNW/UHNW clients, ideally including exposure to clients with international or multi-jurisdictional assets.
- Proven ability to manage a broad caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong business development skills and a genuine interest in developing new client and professional relationships.
- Ambition to develop your career within a growing Private Client team.
