Opportunity for a Private Client Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Private Client lawyer to join a thriving and well-established practice at Senior Associate or Partner level, playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high-quality client base, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families, and agricultural clients, whilst helping to shape the future direction of the team.

The role is full-time permanent and based at any of the firms Lincolnshire offices - flexible working options are available with 3 days in an office and 2 days working from home.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Trusts and trust administration
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Succession planning
  • Inheritance tax planning and mitigation
  • Advising business owners, agricultural clients and HNW individuals

Alongside managing a complex caseload, you'll be involved in:

  • Strategic growth of the department
  • Business development and networking
  • Building relationships with clients and referrers
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Contributing to the firm's long-term success and growth plans

The Ideal Candidate

You will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with significant Private Client experience
  • Confident handling complex wills, trusts, estates and succession planning matters
  • Experienced in inheritance tax planning, ideally including agricultural and business assets
  • Commercially minded with strong relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about client service and developing junior team members
