Private Client Solicitor / Trainee Solicitor
Worcester | £27,000–£30,000 for Trainee | £35,000–£40,000 for Qualified Solicitor, depending on experience | Hybrid following completion of probation
GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are proud to partner a well-known, growing Worcester based legal firm. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) or Trainee Solicitor with at least 12 months’ experience in Wills and Probate to join a busy and growing Private Client Department in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Solicitor looking to qualify into Private Client, a newly qualified Solicitor looking to establish their career, or an experienced Solicitor with up to three years' PQE seeking a supportive and forward-thinking firm where they can continue to develop.
The Role
Working alongside experienced Private Client specialists, you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload and develop strong client relationships across a varied range of matters, including:

- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Estate administration and Probate
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Advising elderly clients
- Asset protection and succession planning
- Providing high-quality, client-focused legal advice
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
You will benefit from early client exposure and responsibility, whilst receiving support and guidance from experienced colleagues as you continue to develop your technical and commercial skills.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Be a Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 0–3 years' PQE, or a Trainee Solicitor with at least 12 months' experience in Wills and Probate
- Have previous experience within Private Client, either during training or post-qualification
- Demonstrate strong communication and client-care skills
- Have excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Be able to manage a varied caseload and competing deadlines
- Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Private Client
- Be commercially aware and committed to delivering an excellent client service
