About the role
Our Tax Compliance team delivers technology-enabled compliance services to a prestigious client base. We combine technical excellence with automation and innovation, working across the UK and with overseas delivery centres to provide an outstanding client experience.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager for a hybrid role combining private client portfolio leadership with technology-enabled process improvement. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on managing high-net-worth individuals, trusts and partnerships, with responsibility for high-quality, commercially effective and well-controlled delivery.
The remaining 50% will connect PCC’s operational needs with the wider Compliance Services Technology and AI teams. Using your understanding of private client compliance to simplify, standardise and automate delivery, and translate business challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
What your days will look like
- Lead a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts and partnerships, building trusted relationships and anticipating client needs.
- Own end-to-end compliance delivery, including complex reviews, timetables, budgets, billing, quality and risk.
- Analyse PCC processes, controls and hand-offs to identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation, automation and AI.
- Translate business challenges into clear requirements, process maps, user stories, success measures and scalable solutions.
- Partner with Technology and the Compliance Services AI Programme to design, test and progress governed solutions.
- Coach colleagues and build team capability across technical delivery, technology adoption and continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
