The Role
You will take responsibility for a varied caseload, working closely with experienced private client specialists.
The role offers a fast-paced and rewarding working environment, with exposure to complex matters and significant opportunities for ongoing learning, professional development, and career progression. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling a varied caseload of Private Client matters including preparing and advising on Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Dealing with the administration of Estates and Trusts.
- Assisting clients with Inheritance Tax planning and related matters.
- Developing long-term relationships with clients, intermediaries, and professional contacts.
- Take ownership of your workload while maintaining high standards of service and attention to detail.
- Identify and contribute to business development and networking opportunities.
- Work effectively with colleagues across the wider firm.
- Keep up to date with developments in Private Client law and continue to build your professional expertise.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and client-centred team environment.

The Candidate
The firm is looking for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive with a strong interest in private client work.
You should ideally have:
- Around 3 years' PQE, although applications from more experienced candidates and those who are qualified by experience are also welcomed.
- Solid experience in trust administration and trust taxation.
- A private client background with experience involving all aspects of private client work.
- The confidence and ability to manage your own caseload.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong client care skills, particularly when working with high-net-worth individuals.
- It would also be beneficial if you were STEP qualified or working towards it.
