About The Role
This full time Private Client Lawyer position in Staffordshire offers a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload for a diverse client base, advising on matters such as drafting Wills, inheritance tax, estate planning and wealth preservation. Applicants should be solicitors or experienced lawyers with at least two years PQE. The role involves helping clients protect assets and plan for significant life events. Joining an established team, the postholder will work alongside colleagues possessing deep knowledge of private wealth and succession issues, supporting career progression within a professional setting.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or experienced private client lawyer looking to progress their career within a supportive, professional environment, working alongside colleagues with extensive experience in private wealth and succession matters.
- Advise a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, helping clients protect their assets, plan for the future and navigate important life events.
- Responsible for drafting Wills and advising on inheritance tax, estate planning and wealth preservation, managing probate applications and the administration of estates, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.
- Opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload, build lasting client relationships and contribute to the continued success and development of the team.

Skills Required
- Private Client Solicitors or Legal Executives with a strong grounding in Private Client work and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent legal advice and client service.
- Solid background in estate planning, probate and estate administration.
- Strong technical knowledge, sound judgement and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently, with an appropriate level of supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop trusted relationships with clients.
- Sensitive, empathetic and professional approach when dealing with personal and often challenging circumstances.
