Salary up to £60k
Yolk Recruitment is supporting a well-established regional practice with the recruitment of an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its successful Private Client team in Chippenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload covering Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and wider Private Client matters, while joining a supportive team with a strong reputation for client service.
The successful Private Client Lawyer will manage a busy and varied caseload, working closely with clients to provide clear, practical and commercially considered advice. You will have the opportunity to develop existing client relationships, generate new work and play an active role in the continued growth of the Private Client department.
This is what you will be doing
As a Private Client Lawyer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own varied Private Client caseload, with a particular focus on Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to generate new Private Client work.
- Providing a high standard of client care, managing matters efficiently and delivering clear and practical legal advice.
- Working towards agreed fee income targets and contributing to the commercial success and continued development of the Private Client team.
- Maintaining high professional and regulatory standards in line with SRA, Law Society and Lexcel requirements.

The experience you will bring to the team
You will bring the following experience to the Private Client team:
- A qualified Private Client Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' PQE and substantial experience across a broad range of Private Client matters.
- Strong technical knowledge of areas including Wills, Probate and Estate Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Experience managing a busy and technical caseload while maintaining excellent attention to detail and client service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and professional contacts.
- A motivated and organised approach, with strong time management skills, commercial awareness and the flexibility to travel between offices when required.
