Private Client Legal Secretary – Our client is a well-established and highly regarded, multi-office law firm with an excellent reputation. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join its busy and friendly team in Southeast London.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, ensuring matters progress smoothly while delivering an excellent standard of client care. Your responsibilities will include audio and copy typing legal documentation and correspondence, preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate Administration documents, managing client files, coordinating diaries and appointments, liaising with clients and third parties, preparing bills, and providing general administrative support to the department.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Private Client department and possess excellent typing and document production skills. You will be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines efficiently. A professional, personable, and empathetic approach to client care is essential, along with strong communication skills. You will also enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and be willing to provide support wherever needed.
