About the Company
UK Staffing Group is proud to be partnering with one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing independent insurance brokers to recruit a Private Client Account Executive.
Having experienced significant growth in recent years, the business continues to invest heavily in its people and has ambitious plans for the future. The Private Client division is a key part of that strategy, offering an exciting opportunity to join at an early stage and play a genuine role in shaping its success.
Unlike larger corporate brokerages, this business offers the flexibility and autonomy of an independent broker. Employees are trusted to manage their own workload, enjoy genuine hybrid and remote working, and benefit from a supportive culture where ideas are welcomed and careers can develop quickly.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Private Client, you will play a key role in growing the Private Client division by developing new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
This is a predominantly new business role, with around 90% of your time focused on identifying opportunities, networking, converting referrals and growing your own client portfolio. You'll have access to an existing book of business and strong internal relationships, while also being encouraged to leverage your own professional network to drive growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
