Private Client Assistant Manager / Manager

The Company

Join a growing, London-based accountancy firm that combines the quality and complexity of a top-tier client base with the culture, agility and personal touch of a mid-sized practice. With over 40 years of expertise and strong year-on-year growth, the firm has built a reputation for delivering high-touch, bespoke advice to clients who might typically sit with larger organisations, but value a more relationship-led approach.

As part of a leading international network, you’ll benefit from global reach and technical depth while working in a collaborative, people-first environment that genuinely invests in development and progression. With a diverse client portfolio spanning high and ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and international groups, this is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager to step into a visible, career-enhancing role at a particularly exciting stage of the firm’s growth.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager to join a growing private client team. This role offers a mix of complex compliance and advisory work, making it ideal for a commercially focused tax professional looking to broaden their impact.

You will manage a varied portfolio including ultra and high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, private equity professionals, families, trusts, and internationally mobile clients. The position also provides the chance to work closely with other tax teams on wider advisory projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
