The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Paralegal to join an established and highly regarded law firm in Saffron Walden.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal or experienced Legal Assistant looking to develop their career within Private Client, working alongside experienced lawyers and gaining exposure to a varied range of matters.
You will play an important role in supporting the team and assisting with the smooth progression of client matters, while developing your knowledge and taking on increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners with a varied Private Client caseload
- Assisting with Wills, Probate, estate administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Assisting with probate applications and estate administration
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, executors and third parties
- Obtaining and reviewing information and documentation
- Maintaining accurate matter records and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting client onboarding, AML and compliance requirements
- Undertaking legal research and providing general case management support

About You
They are looking for someone with previous experience within a Private Client, Wills & Probate environment, whether as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or experienced Legal Secretary.
You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident dealing with clients. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to manage a busy workload are essential.
In return, you will join a well-established and supportive regional law firm, with the opportunity to develop your Private Client expertise, work closely with experienced lawyers and build a long-term career within the team.
