Private Client Paralegal

We're working with an established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit a Private Client Paralegal to join their experienced team in King's Lynn.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Private Client experience to join a supportive and professional environment, assisting fee earners across a broad range of matters including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Trusts.

The Role

We are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to provide essential support to the wider team, helping to ensure matters progress smoothly while providing clients with a high standard of service throughout.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting fee earners with the day-to-day management of a varied Private Client caseload
  • Assisting with Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters from instruction through to completion
  • Assisting with the administration of estates, including gathering information and preparing estate accounts
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, correspondence and other relevant documentation
  • Conducting legal and procedural research where required
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, executors, financial institutions and other third parties
  • Handling client enquiries and providing professional support via telephone, email and in person
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Assisting with client updates and ensuring matters progress efficiently
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the wider Private Client team with general administrative and legal duties

About You

  • Previous experience within a Private Client legal environment
  • Experience assisting with Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and/or Trust matters
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • Confidence liaising with clients and third parties
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines
  • Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Private Client
  • Experience using legal case management systems is advantageous.
