Private Client Partner
NEG + comprehensive package
Cheltenham
I'm partnering with a highly regarded independent law firm in Cheltenham to appoint a Private Client Partner (or an aspirational Senior Associate) who will play an integral role in the continued growth and strategic direction of an already successful practice.
The firm has built an enviable reputation for delivering exceptional advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. Its culture is collegiate, entrepreneurial, and refreshingly free from the layers of bureaucracy often associated with larger regional and national firms.
This is an opportunity for a Private Client Partner or (aspirational Senior Associate) to join a leadership team that genuinely values autonomy, collaboration, and long-term relationships. You'll have the platform to develop your practice, influence the direction of the department, and help shape the future of the firm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
