Private Client Partner – Birmingham
National Law Firm | Client Following & Business Development Essential
Are you an established Private Client Partner looking for a platform that can support the continued growth of your practice?
We are working with a highly regarded national law firm that is looking to appoint a Private Client Partner in Birmingham as part of its continued growth strategy.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Private Client Partner with an established client following and a proven ability to generate new business.
The Opportunity
You will join a well-established national practice and play a key role in developing its Birmingham private client offering.
The role will involve advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs and families on a broad range of private client matters, while taking an active role in growing the team and developing the firm's presence in the market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising HNW and UHNW individuals and families on complex private client matters.
- Managing a high-quality caseload involving Wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and succession planning.
- Advising business owners and entrepreneurs on wealth preservation and succession.
- Developing and maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
- Taking a proactive approach to business development and networking.
- Leveraging your existing client following and introducing new opportunities to the firm.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's national network.
- Identifying cross-referral opportunities with Corporate, Commercial, Tax, Family and Real Estate teams.
- Supporting the growth and development of the Birmingham private client practice.
- Playing a visible role in raising the firm's profile within the regional market.

About You
We are looking for an established Private Client Partner with an excellent technical background and a genuine appetite for growth.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience in private client law.
- An established and demonstrable client following.
- A strong network across Birmingham and the wider Midlands market.
- A proven track record of business development and winning new work.
- Excellent technical and commercial knowledge.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- The credibility and confidence to act as a senior ambassador for the firm.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across a national practice.
- The ambition to build and grow a significant private client practice.
