Private Client Partner – Succession & Tax | Award-Winning Firm | Oxford

Join a growing, top-tier law firm with an exceptional private client platform, high-quality high-net-worth (HNW) clients, and ambitious growth plans across the Thames Valley.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an established Private Client Law Partner to help drive the next phase of growth within a highly regarded Succession and Tax practice. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm that values partner-led growth, client-centric care, and long-term success.

The remit will include:

  • Lead complex private client matters including high-value probate, lifetime trusts, international asset structuring, and complex tax mechanisms.
  • Advise an exceptional regional client ecosystem, from high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and landowners to university spin-out founders and entrepreneurs.
  • Work alongside market-leading Corporate and Real Estate specialists to manage seamless business asset transitions and agricultural property reliefs.
  • Play a key role in shaping, expanding, and scaling the firm's regional private client offering.
  • Mentor and develop a talented local team of Senior Associates, Solicitors, and support staff in the Oxford hub.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with an active STEP qualification and an impeccable professional record.
  • Proven senior-level track record managing complex estate administrations, lifetime trusts, and capital gains/inheritance tax planning.
  • Strong relationships and an established professional network within the Oxford or wider Thames Valley market.
  • Demonstrable business development and client leadership experience with a natural flair for client acquisition.
  • Collaborative approach and the leadership skills to inspire, supervise, and grow a rising legal team.
