An exciting partnership opportunity has arisen with this successful, forward-moving law firm based in Birmingham. No following required.
Our client is a well-regarded and financially stable independent law firm with an established and ambitious private client team - one of the key pillars of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong private client lawyer looking for a supportive, well-managed environment where they can have autonomy and play a significant role in the continued success and development of the team.
The successful candidate is likely to bring strong technical expertise across wills, trusts, estates and tax, together with the confidence and experience to supervise others and build lasting client relationships.
You may already be working in the Birmingham or West Midlands market or you may be contemplating a move to the region from elsewhere.

The role
You will:
- Advise a diverse private client base on wills, trusts, estates, succession planning and related tax matters.
- Manage complex and high-value client matters with a high degree of autonomy.
- Develop and strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for further growth.
- Provide supervision, guidance and support to junior members of the team.
- Contribute to the strategic development and continued growth of the private client practice.
- Play an active role within a friendly, collaborative and ambitious partnership.
About you
We are looking for an established private client lawyer with:
- Strong technical experience in wills, trusts, probate/estates and tax.
- Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
- Proven supervisory and people-management experience.
- Commercial awareness and an appetite for business development.
- The ability to manage complex matters confidently and independently.
- A collaborative approach and the desire to contribute to a positive team culture.
