Hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexible working applications considered) Hybrid working: 4 days in the office each week during probation, then 40-60% office-based after successful completion of probation.
Kingsley Napley is seeking a talented Practice Assistant to support our Private Client team. This is a pivotal role where you will work closely with Partners and Fee Earners, providing high-quality administrative, organisational, and client support to help the team deliver an outstanding service.
As a Practice Assistant, you will be an integral member of the Practice Support team, taking ownership of a wide range of responsibilities including diary management, client communication, matter administration, billing support, document management, and travel arrangements.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department whilst building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and business support teams across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, and inboxes.
- Act as a professional point of contact for clients and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate administrative tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support file opening, conflict checks, compliance processes, and document management.
- Assist with billing, expenses, bank transfers, and time recording.
- Liaise with internal business support teams across the firm.
- Identify issues proactively and work collaboratively to find solutions.

About You
- Experience in a busy, deadline-driven administrative or PA role.
- Comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, positive, and team-focused approach.
- Legal or professional services experience is desirable.
