If you are a qualified Private Client Solicitor looking for a platform to grow your practice while continuing to undertake high-quality work, this could be an excellent next step!

We are working with a successful national law firm with an outstanding reputation for advising businesses, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and families across the UK. The firm combines the calibre of work and clients typically associated with larger city practices with the flexibility to be based from any of its Midlands offices, allowing lawyers to enjoy first-class work without compromising on location or lifestyle.

This is a firm that values substance over status. They're looking for lawyers with energy, commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset, people who enjoy building trusted relationships, taking ownership, spotting opportunities and helping to drive the business forward.

Whether your background is with an international firm, a respected regional practice or a boutique, what matters most is the strength of your relationships, your reputation in the market and the value you'll bring to the team. The firm has created a collaborative culture where ambition is recognised, ideas are welcomed and lawyers are encouraged to develop their practice.

The Opportunity

You will join a highly regarded Private Client team who advise a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners on a broad range of matters including wills, estate and succession planning, trusts, inheritance tax planning, estate administration, wealth preservation and lasting powers of attorney. The team also advises on more complex cross-border succession planning and trust matters, providing an excellent platform for lawyers looking to undertake high-quality, technically challenging work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
