Senior Associate – Private Client
Location: Thames Valley / London Hub | Hybrid Working
A highly regarded, full-service UK law firm with a strong national profile and growing international reach is looking to appoint a Senior Associate into its expanding Private Wealth team.
The firm advises a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurial families, business owners and internationally connected clients, alongside a broad commercial client portfolio spanning technology, innovation and corporate sectors.
This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established team at a key stage of growth, taking on high-quality, complex work while playing an active role in shaping the future direction of the practice.
The Role
This position sits within a specialist Private Wealth team handling technically demanding, high-value and often cross-border private client matters.
You will work across both London and Thames Valley offices, with hybrid flexibility, advising on sophisticated estate planning and tax structuring for individuals and families with complex asset profiles.

The role combines autonomy over a varied caseload with collaboration alongside senior colleagues on more complex and strategic matters, as well as involvement in business development and client relationship growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on complex wills, trusts and estate planning matters
- Structuring and implementing inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning strategies
- Managing cross-border estates and multi-jurisdictional asset structures
- Establishing, administering and advising on trusts, including international arrangements
- Supporting succession planning for family-owned and privately held businesses
- Advising on Business Property Relief and wider tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies
- Working alongside corporate teams on shareholder planning, exits and restructuring
- Handling probate and estate administration for high-value and complex estates
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, often multi-generational
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to business development and profile-raising initiatives

The Team
You will join a well-structured and highly experienced Private Wealth team made up of senior lawyers, associates, paralegals and support staff, working closely with wider departments to deliver joined-up advice to clients.
