Private Client Solicitor (3-6 PQE) - Hertfordshire - Up to 70k + Benefits + Bonus

A leading Legal 500-ranked law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a Tier 1-ranked Private Client practice, advising on complex and high-quality matters for individuals, families and business owners across the South East and London.

Joining one of the largest and most respected Private Client teams in the region, you will work alongside experienced specialists whilst managing a varied caseload of quality matters. The firm is renowned for its investment in training, supervision and long-term career development, offering an excellent platform for ambitious solicitors looking to further their expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The team advises a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and professional advisers, on a broad range of private wealth matters. With a dedicated trusts practice and an outstanding reputation for client care, the department has developed strong referral relationships and maintains an impressive proportion of repeat client work.

The Role:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters
  • Advising on Wills, Probate and Estate Administration
  • Providing inheritance tax and estate planning advice
  • Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
  • Supporting clients with trust creation, administration and succession planning
  • Working closely with high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners
  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
  • Collaborating with colleagues across wider private wealth teams
  • Supporting business development and networking initiatives

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3-6 years' PQE in Private Client law
  • Strong technical knowledge across private client matters
  • Experience advising on Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and positive approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • STEP, SFE or other private client qualifications would be advantageous
