Private Client Solicitor

Location: Slough
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 basic plus bonus (based on targets set and achieved)
Hours: 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday (Office-based)
Duration: Permanent

Please note: there is no on-site parking

An award-winning, Legal 500 law firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Slough office. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and is looking to take a hands-on role in developing and growing a Private Client department. The role is highly client-focused, with regular client meetings both in the office and off site. You will also be expected to develop professional networks and help grow the Private Client team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload and advise individuals and families across a broad range of Private Client matters, including;
    • Wills and estate planning
    • Probate and estate administration
    • Trusts
    • Inheritance tax and estate planning
    • Lasting Powers of Attorney
    • Court of Protection matters

Key Attributes

  • A fully qualified Solicitor with Private Client experience
  • Experienced in managing their own case files from start to finish
  • Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
  • A strong communicator with excellent client-facing skills
  • Confident with networking
  • Hands-on, proactive, and commercially minded
  • Keen to help develop and grow a team
  • A 2:1 degree and a STEP credential would be ideal alongside any other relevant formal qualifications
