Role: Private Client Solicitor
Location: Surrey
Proper Recruitment are working with a well-established law firm who are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident solicitor to manage a varied private client caseload whilst developing long-term relationships with clients and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, inheritance tax, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Provide technical advice on complex private client matters
- Handle matters independently whilst maintaining exceptional standards of client care
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and empathetic communication
- Supervise and support trainee solicitors, paralegals, and junior team members
- Ensure compliance with SRA principles, risk management procedures, and internal policies
- Contribute to business development, networking, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate effectively within a supportive and team-focused environment

Experience & Qualifications:
- Ideally 2+ Years PQE within Private Client
- TEP qualification beneficial
- Strong experience managing Private Client matters independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to developing client relationships
